Very little useful information for Android developers in the talk.

Very disappointed that Amazon didn't talk about how we can develop apps for the Fire! Can you please ask them to come back and do this!!!

Mostly not worth my time. There was almost zero information about the Kindle shared

I was expecting that the presentation would be developer focussed and would address development diffrences between Fire and Other android devices. None of that was there. The real demo is also a failure. wasted my time.

I was very disappointed by the presentation. I was under the impression, as many others were, that the discussion would be "Inside the Kindle Fire." Yes, I suppose the Fire *does* have a battery inside, but not what I expected.

Overall it was fine. I was hoping for more technical information as well, but it was still interesting. Groups like this are really about education, networking, and finding jobs. If anyone isn't happy with how one is going there is always the option to raise one's hand and ask, or, of course, volunteer. People should really remember that this is not a conferences with entitlements...

Amazon abused the goodwill of our meetup. They were looking for hires. They had nothing to say or share.

The main topic of presentation (battery life) did not seem very relevant/useful for an Android developer group.

The Kindle event is one of the best meetings I have attended. Kudos to the organizers. You guys rock!

description did not match content. I probably would not have attended if I had known the real topic about testing battery consumption.

The content was a little weak.

Met some interesting people, didn't win a Kindle Fire, and wasn't too interested in the subject matter. So it's a wash.

I thought the discussion and presentation was good and well worthwhile. I am surprised at others comments. Battery consumption on a small device is very important. Amazon could not discuss products in development, pretty normal.

Really really bad presentation.. what a waste of time !

Awful - complete waste of time - the presenters hardly talked about the topic they were supposed to deliver on.

Batteries.. batteries. Sorry but this was just a waste of time. The batteries lecture was not even on the published agenda. If I had known, I would not have gone. This was a massive missed opportunity for Amazon. They had 300 developers in a room, all eager to learn about the Amazon App marketplace and Kindle Fire. And they gave a 5 min talk on the Kindle Fire and Appstore (with no slides even) and then lectured for god knows how long on batteries.

Missed it completely. I went to AppNation where no one knew anything about ABC. I should have stayed at the Eclipse Day at Googleplex. My mistake. AppNation was okay but not many people or things of interest.

This was a great session. I learned a bunch about a company that I had thought only used proprietary RIM software and was on a down hill slide. However they informed me that they are doing well and using Android. Additionally they gave us PLAYBOOKS so that we could develop apps on their tablets!! Awesome!

    excellent presentations, amazing parting gifts!

The skype presentation was a little weak -- nothing really new the blackberry presentation was excellent --- a lot of tips for blackberry apps development - sounds like blackberry is interested on android development could be an earnings opportunity - and a big thanks for the playbook giveaway.

Would have liked to see much more detail from Skype.

The good thing was the free playbook, but the only interesting part of the discussion last night was the architecture one while the others not being very technical.

Very informative. Great speakers. RIM developer champion did really great job (except for the "RIM will come after you" sentece, haha). He completely changed my view on RIM.

Thanks to the Android meetup organizers, to Skype and to the Blackberry/RIM team.

As good as it gets. Great venue, first class organisation (tip of the hat to Lawrence and Nelson!) and quality presentations.

Please put up the presentations from the meetup. I would like to follow up on the internals slide which got skipped over. I would be happy to put together a discussion on "internals" for an up comming meetup.

Pizza and drinks, enthusiastic and knowledgeable presenters, excellent topics, great venue, and to top it off, free Playbooks for everyone! Just perfect!

Very good, especially since RIM was so generous to give all attendees a Playbook each. RIM also explained well the basics of Android over its new BBX OS.
